We may also collect login/session information, device or usage information, payment status, membership plan details, support messages, and fraud-prevention information.

Phone number and OTP verification

We use your mobile number to verify your account and protect the platform from misuse. OTP may be sent by SMS, WhatsApp, voice call, or another verification channel supported by our service provider. We use OTP information only for account verification, login, security, fraud prevention, and account recovery purposes. Do not share your OTP with anyone.

How we use information

We use information to create and manage member accounts, display matrimonial profiles, provide search and matching features, show contact details according to membership rules and privacy settings, process membership purchases, verify users, prevent misuse, improve services, provide customer support, send account or service updates, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Profile visibility and contact details

Matrimonial profile information may be visible to other users as part of the service. Contact details may be shown according to membership rules, admin settings, and visibility choices available in the platform. Users should share personal information carefully and use their own judgment before communicating or meeting any other member.

Payments

Membership payments are processed through third-party payment gateway providers such as PhonePe. We may share required transaction details such as amount, membership plan, order ID, user ID, and payment status with the payment provider to complete and verify payments. We do not store your card, UPI PIN, net banking password, or other sensitive payment instrument credentials on our servers. Payment providers process such data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent member information for unrelated third-party marketing. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the platform, including hosting, OTP/communication, payment gateway, analytics, technical support, fraud prevention, and legal compliance providers. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, government authority, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the platform.

Security

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards to protect member information. However, no internet or mobile service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Members are responsible for keeping login details, passwords, and OTPs confidential and should report unauthorized account access immediately.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, manage membership records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet legal/accounting requirements, and operate the platform. Some information may remain in backups or records for a limited period even after account changes or deletion requests.

Member Control and Requests

Members may update profile information through their account. For account deletion, correction, privacy, or data-related requests, please contact Subh Vivaah support. We may need to verify your identity before processing such requests.

Children

Our matrimonial services are intended for adults who are legally eligible to use matrimonial services. We do not knowingly provide services to children.
